New Song – JoJo “Keep On Forgetting” (HQ Audio)
JoJo, the 18 year old girl with the voice of a 50 year old gospel singer, who ironically got noticed at the age of 13 singing in a church choir by her current record label. JoJo has been busy at work on her third album (Yes, and she's only 18! Her first was at the age of 13, with her breakout single "Leave (Get Out)") this album is definetly inportant to her, as she has said herself, she wanted to showcase her growth as a woman and an artist.
There have been a few songs that have gradually leaked since, one of them being " 25 to Life" which was featured on the Jaw Music Blog a few months ago. However none of them have compared to the most recent one, "Keep On Forgetting (To Forget About You)" a soulful and powerful ballad about realising your inability to get over a loved one. Not only is this song deep, but it's catchy and also somewhat relatable. JoJo's lyrics are exactly what you would expect of an intelligent teenager, years beyond herself, except she doesn't beat around the bush with lame prententious verses, her songs are very well written, not overly simplified, or intentionally complex.
Have a listen to "Keep On Forgetting" and leave a comment below to tell us what you think! It's a great song, and it will be featured on her upcoming album "All I Want Is Everything", so stay tuned, there is another new song that will be reviewed soon. If you enjoyed the song, please purchase it when it's release as a single or just purchase the album, JoJo is a hardworking young artist and it's important to support the industry! The album will be released soon, but no date is specified, she has had trouble with her record label until this point but has reached a conclusion to these issues.
Also, please forgive me for the complete drought in articles and updates, my laptop was busy having it's own little bitch fit.
