Single Review – “Tease Me” Sneaky Sound System

- Sneaky Sound System
Sneaky Sound System are an independent Australian dance group who have completely changed the dance and club scene in Australia. This group came out in early 2004 with the cult classic EP "Hip Hip Hooray", but they did not seriously grab attention until they released the single "Tease Me" which precluded their self titled albums lead single "I Love It".

Sneaky Sound System originally went around to different labels but were not offered record deals that were even feasible to fund the group. So they decided to take the other route, and in an act of true pioneering, they formed their own independent record label, and since have both a double platinum debut album and a number 1 debut for their sophmore album "2". These guys proved that small music markets like Australia are ideal for independent labels, as they are managable and less tiered.
On to the song! "Tease Me" is a fantastic escapistic dance number, with an almost dreamy intro, their instrumentals are perfect for clubs but also hold a certain attractiveness that gets them played on the radio. Tease me was a club hit in Australia and led the way for many more of their hits which will be featured on this website in the coming months alognside previews of the songs. I am very excited to write more about Sneaky Sound System as they have not yet embarked overseas and I always enjoy trying to introduce people to Australian music that gets overlooked because inernational markets are too picky about foreign artists. Stay tuned for more!
